hey guys, this is gary wong from garywongrealty.comagain. today, i want to talk about a pretty commonprinciple that i’ve learned in business and in life. you’ve all heard the term, ready-aim-fire. you get ready first, and then you aim, andthen you fire. when i grew up in my life, that’s all i learned. that’s the order that i learned. if you shoot a gun, you have to get ready, then you aim, then you fire. and in business, same thing, you get readyfirst, and then you aim and then you fire

your proposal or you start acting-- you startdoing, and then when i went to business school, thisis what i learned: it’s not ready-aim-fire. it’s ready, fire and then aim. what do you mean? how does that work? you get ready but instead of aiming, you juststart firing. you start firing, firing, firing. and then you aim after you fire.

because most people spend time—in business school, they teach you that companies or people--they spend time-- too much time aiming and they never fire. they switched it around. it made me think. okay so, i should ready-- get ready, and thenfire and then aim. and then after i graduated business school, and then i started working the entrepreneurial world. then when i met my millionaire mentor-- theni started reading millionaire books.

all these books about-- from multimillionairesand billionaires. and they’re just totally thinking at a differentlevel. and the concept i learned then was not evenready-fire-aim. the toptop top level multimillionaires, billionairesare like this: fire-fire-fire-fire-fire-aim. fire-fire-fire-fire-fire-fire-aimfire-fire-fire-fire-fire-fire-aim there’s no ready. you just go.

do it. you just fire. it just blew my mindhow does that work? if you spend all your time getting ready, you don’t end up firing. those high level entrepreneurs, they thinkof the idea, and they don’t sit down and draft up this30-page business plan and talk about it. yea, they’ll do that but they fire first. they fire and they keep firing. and it’s all about taking massive action.

they just fire-fire-fire-fire. and then while they’re firing, they will realize they’re missing the target, and as they miss the target, they’ll startto aim. but instead of the first one (ready- aim-fire),aim first, and then once you’re ready, you aim and then fire. it just takes too long. but in the multimillionaires, the level—thebillionaires, they’re all—they’re firing, firing, firing and firing. they find out what works.

they find out what doesn’t work really quicklybecause they’re non-stop firing. it just blows my mind and it’s hard to evenstart to adopt that kind of mind set but i’ve been trying to do that. it’ll blow your mind. how can you apply this in your life-- withother people? let’s say my wife. i want to love her. i want to do things that will make her feelloved. ideally, if i do the ready-aim-fire,it would be like planning,

setting up may be a plan on how to arrangethis beautiful date night. but if i take the fire-fire-fire-fire-aimapproach, i’ll be just doing everything. try this, try that. try this. maybe i’ll do this. maybe a romantic dinner. maybe i’ll take her on a cruise. maybe i’ll do this, do this.

and then basically rather than brainstormingand writing it down, i’ll just-- instead of writing 20 things,i’ll do the 20 things, and then in those things,i’ll find out what my wife likes; and what makes my wife feel loved;and what doesn’t make my wife feel loved. so it’s like same. you can apply this in many different fieldsin terms of-- let’s say you don’t know what your strengthsare. well why don’t you try different thingsand try bunch of stuff instead of planning and thinking about it.

just do-do-do-do. and in your business, just try to do stuff. you’ll find out what doesn’t work. instead of spending 2 monthsthinking of what would work perfectly, just start doing things that come up intoyour mind. and then i’d guarantee you,if you-- instead of 2 months of planning the right thing,if you just spend 2 months doing stuff, you’ll find out maybe 10 things or 5 thingsthat don’t work and then later it’ll save you the time of planningwhether

thing number 1 works, thing number 2 works , thing number 3 works, thing number 4 and thing number 5. you’d be like, ‘i’ve done it, i know.’ the more you fire, the faster you’ll hit the bull’s eye. all right. so anyways, quick video of the day. ready–aim–fire. ready-fire-aim.

but you should be like fire-fire-fire-aim. gary wong from garywongrealty.comsubscribe. comment below. until next time. god bless you!
