from your guys' perspective, like, running cattle on a ranch, like what do you think of when you think of wild pigs? are they like, bad to have t around, or don't you care to have them around, or what is it? i don't know, it doesn't bother me too much. don't really think about them too much. what kind of damage will they do on you? well, they get in the barn. root the hay. pretty soon they'll tear up bales and the stack will fall over. that's why we've got it all fenced like this. do they destroy the grassland? they could root up

a half an acre pretty quick, you know, if you've got irrigated ground. that's kind of a nuisance. are they pretty flighty? like, they like, know where to steer clear of folks? they don't see real well but they, once they realize you're there, then they take off. do you see them around here right now? they seem like right now, they're here. yeah, i've seen them for the past few days. do you guys ever go get them just to eat them? oh we have, yes. yeah, they're good.

do they come out at specific times or do you seethem in the middle of the day too? it's early and late but you could see them all day long. like, based on what you've seen around, if i wanted to find, like, a big boar or whatever, what would be the, like, what would be the approach out here? like, what would you do out here to try to find them? check the water sources, first place to go. or a mud hole. so they'll hit water every day. yeah, oh yeah. that's part of the county. there's quite a few water holes. but a good approach is to get up

somewhere where you can look at the waterand just wait and see if you come they come out of there? they'll come out of the hills and comedown into the - they like the flats, you know, where there's mud. and they get in there. you'll see a big boar by itself a lot of times. just one. you'll see one big boar? yeah, the boar is running around. i don't know why he's by himself! he's a loner. he got sick of women. yeah, he got tired of the sows! took a hike.

i don't know, you know. so when you see a big boar, is it pretty obvious that that's a big boar? they're big in the neck area. with a long snout. so they're like the real deal kind of wild pigs. oh yeah. yeah they're wild, wild wild, i guess you'd say. and you find that meat, that wild meat's pretty comparable to pork? like, it's just as good? it's good flavor. it's good flavor, yeah. it's got uh, it's a different flavor, really. it's good though.

now do you guys want, if i, do you guys want a pig skinned out and everything? sure, yeah, we'll take one. we wouldn't turn it down. we wouldn't turn it down! or two or three if you want, you know. that sounds good, if you can show me around, hopefully i'll come back with some pork for y'all. i'll keep a little bit for me. that'll work. that works!
