namaste, i'm lata jain,welcome to lata's kitchen you can make many dishes with potatoes today i'm going to makealoo paneer curry lets see the ingredients requiredto make aloo paneer curry for this we'll need potatoes - 4 medium sized (about 250gm), boiled and peeled tomatoes - 3, medium sized, chopped cottage cheese - 150 gm, diced red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp


ginger - 1/2 inch piece, finely chopped turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp oil - 2 tbsp cumin seeds - 1 tsp corriander powder - 1 tsp green chiiles - 2, cut lengthwise garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp cilatro - 2 tbsp, chopped salt - little more than 1 tsp, adjust to taste


dry fenugreek leaves - 1 tsp asafoetida - 1 pinch break boiled potatoes into small pieces heat oil in a pan oil is heated, add cumin seeds it has stopped spluttering, now add asafoetida. turn gas to low add coriander powder add ginger


add green chillies add tomatoes saute till tomatoes get softer tomatoes are softer, now add red chilly powder you can adjust red chilly powder according to your taste add turmeric powder now add potatoes mix well and cook for 1 minute now add 1 cup of water


keep gas on medium cook it for 5 minutes add dry fenugreek leaves ad salt its been 5 minutes, lower the gas add cottage cheese cook for another 5 minutes you can add some water if gravy is too thick its been 5 minutes, now add garam masala


turn off the gas, garnish with cilantro aloo paneer curry is ready you can serve it in lunch, dinner or breakfast with roti, paratha, puri or rice you can also pack it in tiffin for kids thanks for watching aloo paneer curry
