Paleohacks Cookbooks

hi and a huge welcome to steve's kitchen. it's sunday morning and i'm feeling like a lazy sunday afternoon. i've got a bag of camp fire marshmallows, got myskillet let's get on and make some wonderful campfire s'mores now grab yourself 250 grams, 8 ounces of your favourite graham crackers i'm using digestive biscuits and breakthem up into crumbs if you need me to demonstrate breakingthem into crumbs you're in the wrong place

well if you really must i'm just poppingthem in a bowl i'm bashing them with a rolling pin so that's what i'm looking for and don'tworry if there's a few large lumps in there that'll be fine. so we've bought our skillet over to the stove and i've just got a medium heat on there i've got three and a half ounces about ahundred grams of salted butter i'm going to pop that in the skillet and letit melt down. now you can see our butter has started to melt down i'm going to takethose cookie crumbs now and just pop them in with the butter, youknow this is going to taste good. now i'm

just going to start to level this down andmix, just coat it over with a little bit of butterand now it's a good idea to turn the pan down to a low heat or even off if youthink the pan is hot enough because we don't want to burn thebutter or the biscuits on the bottom of the pan. now the next thing i've got some hersheysor dark chocolate about three and a half ounces, a hundred grams again and i'm just going to put them acrossthe top, there just little broken bits of chocolate

and the heat rising up from the cookiesand the butter and the pan will start to melt that chocolate down i have some of these caramel toffees and i've just cut them up into small cubes again about a hundred grams of those and i'm just going to take a handful andi'm going to sprinkle those over the top as well so we've got our cookies in there now we've got our chocolate and our caramel. now turn the heat off of our pan now those little chocolate bits look as ifthey haven't melted but look if i touch that

you can see that it's actually almost molten. now we're going take those wonderful light and fluffy marshmallows the campfiremarshmallows and we're going to lay them across the top of our biscuit there and this isgoing to form our sort of pie crust over the top so that'swhat we're looking for now i'm going to take this over to the grillif you had a barbecue now you could pop this straight into the barbecue and put the lid down. i've got my grill on high and i'm going to pop the skillet in there now notice i'm not going high up on thegrill i want to be

a good five or six inches away from thegrill if you're on the barbecue then just close the lid down on the barbecue we're going to leave that under the grill forabout 15 minutes until they become golden brown and there they are i bought that out from under the grill now if you serve those at a campfire thekids are going to absolutely love you. i'll pop them downthere so here we go let's dig in now and take a big chunk of these wonderful sticky delicious smores

so here goes hope i don't burn my mouth mmm! oh! imagine that just served up at thecampfire everybody's digging in everyone's enjoying it heaps of fun thisis delicious i got to have a little bit more please share the love give this one athumbs-up nice lazy recipe for a sunday afternoon begood i'll see you next time take care thank you for joining me i"ll leave a couple of links up here to some other videos and i'dlove to know what you think about lazy
