[grating in rhythm] [alexis singing] it’s the grating song. you are grating a carrotand i am eating a mango! [music]stump kitchen stump kitchen gluten-free, vegan eatsand stumptastic treats! [alexis] molly’s back! [molly] yay! [alexis] tell us what we’re gonna make today, molly! [molly] salad rolls!


[alexis sing-song] we’re gonna roll somesalad rolls, salad rolls. [alexis] let’s show you our ingredients… this. we’ve got some fresh mint. [molly] delectable basil. [alexis] sweet beets! [molly] juicy peppers! [alexis] we got a mango! [molly] the best – lime!


[alexis] carrots. [molly] refreshing ginger. [alexis] maple syrup. [molly] some peanut butter. [alexis] chili garlic sauce. and some soy-free soy sauce. sauce-a-sauce-sauce. step one: make the sauce. [bell rings]


[alexis] half a cup of peanut butter. [molly] kay. [alexis] do we even have that? i don’t think we have enough! s#%t. let’s make the sauce in the jar. i think that’s a good idea. [molly] okay. [alexis] great our stumps are already reallydirty and we’re only on step one.


one and a half tablespoons of soy sauce. fill ‘er up, molly![both laughing] two to three tablespoons of maple syrup! yeah be generous with those tablespoons. nature’s nectar! stumps are really good for juicing limes. [molly] i never juice limes. [alexis] whoa! that’s what stumps are for!


[both laughing] [molly] ooh new method! [alexis] i think we should put some lime zestin it, what do you think? [molly] why not? i love it. [alexis laughing] [alexis] we’ve got different grating techniqueswe’re just gonna point that out really quick. molly’s grating technique looks like this. f#%kin’ a-plus if you ask me about that! i put it inside.


then i grate. just two different ways you can do it withyour stump! [molly] mm-hmm. [alexis singing] we’re in a little drummingband! [alexis] we’re having too much fun! okay now we put this in the sauce. let’s cut that sucker in half. yeah. we’re juicing limes with our stumps.


[molly] this is my first time juicing a limewith my stump. [alexis] it takes a lot of arm power! [both laughing][alexis] it’s like they’re wearing hats. and i’ll combine my juice into yours. it’s gonna go all in! [molly] mm. [alexis] now we need half a teaspoon of chiligarlic sauce. so, squeeze with your stump. open it up.


[molly] a heaping half a teaspoon! [alexis] yeah you are a girl after my ownheart! half a teaspoon of fresh ginger! hello friend! some people like to peel their ginger, i don’tlike to peel anything. [grating] and then take a smell break. [molly] mmm… [alexis] oh, so good!


put in a little extra. [molly] i feel like this needs more liquid. [alexis] that is the last thing we need – somehot water. just less than a quarter cup of warm waterand mix it in. nailed it! [alexis] look at this beauty of bounty. let’s start with peppers. [molly] okay! [alexis] i kind of hold it down with my stumpand then cut sides off of it and then the


seeds don’t fall out! this is my favourite when they have babiesgrowing inside them! [molly] i know! [alexis] look at that! [molly] little aliens. [alexis] there’s an alien growing insideit! you want nice thin strips. i don’t know how to cut mangoes but we’rejust gonna jump into it. f#%k that worked so well!


[molly] yeah seriously! [alexis] and now you peel it. [molly] that works! skills! [alexis] what’d you do? [molly] just separated it from the skin withthe knife. [alexis] like i said a thousand times – asharp knife is the way to go. hey, we know how to sharpen knives! [bell dings]


[grating][alexis laughing] [alexis] and i’ll grate these beets really get your stump in there secure. [singing] grate, grate, grate, grate, grate,grate. s#%t that’s a lot of beets! [molly] holy! [alexis] let’s do some avocado! [molly] alright! [alexis] yum!


i feel like i’m getting to know my foodso well right now. you are really getting to know your food. [alexis] ‘kay get some water and put itin a pot and noodle it up! great. the noodles are ready! [molly] mmm! [alexis] safety first! [molly] teamwork! [alexis] steam your face.


[alexis] it’s happening! [molly] woohoo! [alexis] get a nice bowl of warm water andsoak these in it. there now it’s nice and goobery. [molly] goobery. [alexis] s#%t it’s everywhere. let’s do maybe a piece of avocado, pieceof mango. [molly] some beets in there. [alexis] some carrots.


[molly] some basil? [alexis] yeah! i think you just kinda tuck one side in, kindaroll it and tuck it, and then grab the two end pieces, tuck them in, and then continuerolling. [alexis] oh yeah.[molly] oh little baby salad roll! [alexis] i want to eat you so bad! should we eat it right away?[molly] yeah! [alexis] let’s eat it right away! we need our peanut sauce![molly laughing]


[alexis] you get the first bite cause you’rethe guest. [molly] mmm…. mm-hmm! [alexis] my turn! [alexis singing] saucy, saucy, saucy, saucesauce. holy f#%k! you don’t even know! there’s ginger, there’s a lime zest, there’ssweet mango, there’s juicy peppers, there’s like crisp basil.


you – i wish you were here in the kitchenwith us. this is so good. i want to bathe in this sauce. [music] [alexis] sometimes they break. so your options for when they break are, youcan— [molly] eat them! [both laughing] [alexis] om nom nom. [molly laughing]


[alexis] it is so great when they break because you get a snack break in the middle of your workflow!
