hi, my name is lori schneider with figs cateringin austin, texas. on behalf of expert village today we are going to show you how to makeroasted root vegetables. so i got my parsnips into the pan and next i'm going to go aheadand add carrots. i'm going to add 3 carrots, i'm first going to start off by cutting offthe very tops of the carrots cause the stem part is eatable. next i'm going to go aheadand begin peeling my carrots to get rid of that outside layer, outside skin. the outsideskin if eatable but a lot of times it can have some bitter flavoring to it and it justdon't look quiet as attractive as a peeled carrot. so we are going to go ahead and peelour today. again if you are not a fan of carrots you can add, absolutely leave this ingredientout and replace it with extra parsnips or


a different root vegetable. this is what ourpeeled carrots will look like.
