we’re adam and joanne from inspiredtaste.netand welcome to our kitchen. we’re showing you how to make sauteed bokchoy with fresh lemon and garlic. this recipe takes about 10 minutes and isperfect as a side or topped with protein for a full meal. we’re using baby bok choy. to clean them, rinse under cool water, rubbingany grit or dirt from between the leaves. if any of the ends are browned, trim them. then cut each bok choy in half lengthwiseor if they are large, in to quarters. next, mince some fresh garlic and quartera lemon.

add olive oil to a room temperature skilletthen throw in the minced garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes. turn the burner to medium heat. as the oil heats up, the garlic will beginto gently sizzle — the moment this happens, throw in the bok choy. season with a little salt then let it cook, without moving it, until the bottom starts to brown — about 2 minutes. flip then cook another couple of minutes oruntil the green leaves are wilted and the white bottoms are beginning to soften.

transfer everything to a plate and serve witha squeeze of fresh lemon. a little extra olive oil is nice, too. enjoy! thanks for watching! if you loved this video, we have lots more. make sure you subscribe to our youtube channeland say hi on facebook, twitter or instagram. we are @inspiredtaste.
