recipe for chicken lettuce wraps

recipe for chicken lettuce wraps, all time. chicken chili lettuce wraps alright, it's got some zing. it's got some spice. i'm gonna show you how to make it right here. let's get started!
cut up 2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs into small pieces and then chop until you have coarse mixture. dice up 1 cup of shiitake mushrooms and an 8 oz can of water chestnuts. sautã© the chicken, mushrooms, and water chestnuts in a tbsp of light olive oil in a large sautã© pan over high heat for about 10 minutes.
once the liquid has evaporated and the mixture is caramelized remove from the pan. wipe the pan clean with paper towels. in the meantime deseed and dice 2 chilis of your choice. i'm going with fresno and serrano but choose some that suit your spice level. add in 2 tbsps of sesame oil to the pan over medium heat along with the diced chilis, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 inch of minced
ginger. sautã© until aromatic and add in 1 tbsp of brown sugar. caramelize for about 1 minute and add the browned chicken mixture is back in. toss in 1 tbsp of fish sauce, the zest of 1 lime, and the juice from half a lime. finish everything up by adding 3 stalks of minced green onions, 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds.for the sauce simply combine 1 tsp of
chili paste, 2 tbsps of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of rice vinegar 1 tbsp of mirin, a sweet japanese rice wine, and 1 tsp of sesame oil. so there you have it folks, chicken chili lettuce wraps. these things are incredible they've got so much crunch, tons of flavor. umami bomb all the way. i've got my
