recipes for chicken breast and pasta



hey! welcome back to cookingaround's kitchen. and welcome back. boy, do i have a surprise for you today. today we are making creamy chicken broccoli


recipes for chicken breast and pasta, in penne, a perfect pasta dish. so let's not waste anymore time let's get going with this awesome recipe. ok ! let's see what goodies we have here


we have chicken breast. we have here also some fresh broccoli we have cream cheese with garlic. and we have olive oil, salt and pepper. and we have penne and it is absolutely perfect for this dish. now to spice this up, i will be using this chicken seasoning. or if you want, you can use any type of seasoning even including this soup mix.


but, you know this is what i want, the grill stuff. so, let's get going. ok, here i have some breasts they are farmers chickens natural chickens now you know something, this is too much for the recipe, i will be doing, so grab you knife and cut right down the middle in half, just like that.


i will be using the other half for another recipe, that i will be showing you. so, just put that on the side. like that now grab the peace like this and just slice it do not worry about it being perfectly cut, because there is no such thing as a perfect chicken. just slice it down like that.


now if you look here, you will see some fat here now you can keep it on, but you know something i will take it off because i kind off like to watch my weight. but it would give you more flavour if you leave it on, now now i want you to cube it. like i said, do not worry how it turns out you will get one bigger or smaller, who cares.


and basically, this is what we want. and i shall be back. now here i have about 1 pound of chicken breast. and i want you to take your chicken seasoning, basically any type of chicken seasoning. now i want you to add 2 tablespoons to it yes 2 tablespoons to it. a little bit more if you are brave, and now


i want you to stir that around very well. and then i want you to take it and put it in your refrigerator for 1 hour. and i shall be back. ok, here we have about a medium size broccoli and what i am going to do is cut it right about here. get that stem off, because we are not going to use that so we chop it right here


like this. and we take this part, but do not throw it away, we can make some stock. now take it and slice it right down the middle now here you can see some stock still attached to the flower. just cut that off, just like that. make my life simple, more stuff for the stock. now, i will just pull it apart now you can see that this is too big for anyone's mouth so we are going to have to slice it down


so it can be easy to eat. so here we go, slice it right down the middle like this. now i will cut the rest, and this is what i want and again, again, i shall be back. grab yourself a heavy skillet or pot add 2 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat, add all the meat, and keep on stirring until it becomes golden brown. ok, here it is, it has been about 8 minutes, take a look at that, absolutely awesome.


does that not look great. so, now, i want you to is add about 1/2 cup of milk the heat should be at medium right now and let that go for about a couple of minutes. and again i shall be back. now here we are, now look at that now we are going to add cream cheese and this cheese is about


1 stick or about 150 grams. now stir that all around until it is all melted, just like that. and... now comes the broccoli here i have abot 4 cups of broccoli, that is about 1 head. now put that in and then stir that all around and intermingle it. add 1/4 cup of water. stir it all around to get that broccoli mixed in well.


now we are going to add some fresh ground pepper here add as much as you want for me it will be about 1/2 tablespoon. so now keeping it on medium heat i now want you to cover it and let it go for 25 to 30 minutes give it a little stir every now and then


here we are, let's see how it looks. oh, does that ever look good. the cheese is all melted. the broccoli is cooked. the chicken smells absolutely awesome. look at this sauce, take a look i know it is a little watery, but it will thicken later on. so now.


what are we going to do here. we now have the water boiling here ah and now we are going to add about 300 to 350 grams of penne you can add spaghetti if you want and just follow the directions and again once again


i shall be back when the penne is ready. grab yourself a large bowl and put all the drained pasta into this bowl. add you're delicious sauce now you can see that it did thicken up here see, just like i told you. it's absolutely awesome, now pour all that in, and now


now start mixing it i do not want you to stir it very hard just from the bottom and flip over. from the bottom and flip over this way you are not going to break up the delicate broccoli. now now, all i can say now is, i hope you enjoy this recipe, for you, your friends and family.
